I build self-driving car technology at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uber.com\/us\/en\/atg\/\">Uber ATG<\/a> as an autonomy engineer focusing on perception and prediction. Previously, I worked at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrec.ri.cmu.edu\/\">National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC)<\/a> with Caterpillar to build <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cat.com\/en_US\/news\/machine-press-releases\/cat-autonomous-mining-trucks-haul-one-billion-tonnes.html\">self-driving mining trucks<\/a>. Education-wise, I received a PhD from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ri.cmu.edu\/\">Robotics Institute at CMU<\/a> where I worked on medical robotics, computer vision, controls, and face recognition.<\/p>\n<h2>Personal<\/h2>\n<p>My current hobbies include the intersection of gardening and technology. While my home state of Florida is green year round, I currently reside in the frozen north of Pittsburgh, which means indoor or greenhouse growing for half the year.
